What to expect at your first visit

To start off we need to set up a 15-30 min. appointment for an initial free consultation. Your consultation will be done in a private/confidential treatment room. This is a private time for you as the patient to fill out a medical history. Your electrologist will then review the history and discuss their findings with you. We will discuss the area that you are interested in having treated and review what temporary methods of hair removal you have previously used.

You will be given an overview of Electrolysis. From when it was invented to who can benefit from treatments.  From how often you need to be seen, to how you will look and feel when you leave. Everything will be explained in complete detail.

Then will be the time for your free trial 10 minute treatment. You will lie on a treatment table, which is located in a private treatment room. The room will have relaxing soft music playing to offer you the most relaxing environment. The area to be treated, with be wiped with an antiseptic solution, such as witch hazel. If you are having your face worked on you will wear eye shields to protect your eyes form the bright light.  During the treatment there is a slight brief sensation of heat to which each individual has a different tolerance. After the treatment a cool compress is applied to sooth the area. To further sooth the area aloe vera gel is applied next. Most patients are able to run errands, return to work or enjoy an evening on the town with out worries of redness or irritation. You will be free of those unsightly embarrassing hairs that you arrived at our office with. You will leave with the smooth hair/care-free complexion you have longed for.

Lastly we will schedule your next treatment to keep you looking and feeling as confident as you are feeling when your treatment is completed.
